The Grainline curates clothing from across the industry. When we send you to a brand's site to buy something we recommended, some of those links earn us a small commission if you purchase — at no extra cost to you.
We want you to know this for two reasons.
One, because the Federal Trade Commission requires it, and we'd tell you anyway. Two, because your trust is the only thing this business is built on, and we'd rather lose a sale than have you wonder whether we're recommending a piece because it's right for you or because the commission is higher.
Our recommendations are driven by your measurements, your taste, and the brand's actual fit data — not by which retailers pay us most. A piece from a brand that doesn't pay us a cent shows up in your feed exactly the same way as one from a brand that does.
If a piece is wrong for your body or out of step with your taste, we don't show it — full stop, regardless of commission.
Most outbound product links on The Grainline are affiliate links.
You can spot them by the /go/ path in the URL when
you click — that's our redirect that tracks the click before
sending you to the retailer.
Editorial links (to brand homepages, designer profiles, articles we reference, etc.) are not affiliate links and earn us nothing.
